Julia Fritts brings to her acupuncture practice decades of skill, compassion, and expertise, and the joy of partnership in the healing of body, mind, and spirit. She has a Masters degree in Physical Therapy, with specialization in Neurotrauma. She served as Senior PT of Neurology/Neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and as Chief of Rehabilitation Medicine at Laurel Hospital. She earned a second Masters degree in Classical Acupuncture at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, now the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Julia went on to earn her International Board Certification and further degree of Diplomate in Acupuncture. Most recently, Julia has trained extensively with Drs. Jason and Linda Hao, founders of the Neuroacupuncture Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico, offering a specialized form of Neuroacupuncture to treat patients of all ages with acute and chronic neurologic disease and injury.

Julia is a teacher of meditation and Tai Chi Chuan, having attained the highest Sky Level in the Yang Style Long Form. Finally answering a lifelong call to ordination, she earned her Master of Divinity degree at The General Theological Seminary in New York City, and was ordained as an Episcopal priest in 2009. Julia has served churches in Maryland, New York City, Oregon, and Connecticut prior to returning home again to serve in her beloved Baltimore.
